Winstead is a neighborhood in Durham, North Carolina. Winstead features well-built, larger homes that are reasonably priced. The common theme the builder used in most homes here were dramatic foyers and staircases. This is a well-established, secure, single-entrance community that continues to attract interest from buyers looking in the Durham area and is very convenient to Duke and UNC. Lots of kids and a 1/2 mile sidewalk loop. The neighborhood was built by Fortis Homes in the 1990s with wooded lot sizes averaging about 1/2 an acre.
Winstead is located on Randolph Road in Durham, NC. Located 5 minutes from Duke University, 10 minutes from the University of North Carolina, and 20 minutes from the Research Triangle Park.
